Lupus Now My View: What are you thankful for?

As we move toward the end of 2011, it’s easy to get caught up in school activities, holiday visits to or from family, maybe even the annual ritual of exchanging gifts. But it’s also a time to count our blessings. We want to hear from you! In spite of having lupus, what are you thankful for? Write to lupusnow@lupus.org, with “Thankful” in the subject line. We’ll print as many as we can in the magazine, and post the rest at lupusnow.org.

I am so thankful for all the support I have. I have a wonderful husband that takes such good care of me.My children and my grandchildren are a source of joy they make my heart so happy all I have to do is look at them and my smile could not be bigger.I am so thankful for everything in my life, but especially for my relationship with my heavenly father. He is my provider and my protection and my source of escape. I have a wonderful hope of living in a world free from sickness Isaiah 33:24 says "and no resident will say I am sick" Jesus says "know the truth and the truth will set you free". God's word is truth and when you learn the truth in the Bible you have every reason to be thankful.
