The holiday season is in full swing and as we posted earlier this month, this season is not the easiest for those with lupus. With the holidays, you may experience an increase in stress and fatigue but did you know you might be dealing with holiday headaches as well?
According to a survey by the National Headache Foundation, 52 percent of respondents experienced an increase in frequency and severity of their headaches during holidays -- bad news for people with lupus, for whom headaches are a common symptom.
Read Holidays = Headaches, an article from Lupus Now Magazine, to determine whether your headaches are truly "lupus headaches" or a side effect of the holiday stress and to learn how to alleviate some of the symptoms.
Tell us, do you experience lupus headaches? Are they worse during the holidays? Any tips on dealing with this? We'd love to hear your thoughts!

Go to Marks Daily Apple - I've been following his primal diet since May, and I'm now off meds and I've seen my blood tests return to normal. I very rarely have rigid joints, no other symptoms at all, although only a year ago I was utterly unable to cope without daily cortisone doses. Try it, you can't not.
