LFA, Indiana Chapter's Phyllis Simko Honored as 2010 Champions of Diversity Winner

Good morning everyone.

I haven't done an LFA chapter spotlight in a while, and I'm very pleased to be able to do one this morning.

Lupus Foundation of America Chapter Spotlight: The LFA Indiana Chapter

On Friday, January 15, LFA Indiana Chapter President & CEO Phyllis Simko was honored at the 5th Annual Champions of Diversity Awards dinner by Indiana Minority Business Magazine.

Phyllis' outstanding and tireless work with diverse and minority populations placed her as one of 13 honorees who were deserving of such an honor. Her commitment to making a difference by advocating on behalf of lupus patients and their families, while providing important resources and support, has truly made a difference in their lives.

The LFA, Indiana Chapter has been able to serve hundreds of lupus patients and their families as a result of Phyllis' work with diverse populations.

Congratulations to Phyllis on winning this prestigious award!
